Greg’s ongoing passion is to create safe and sustainable lifestyles through planning for his clients. He brings consistency and value to his client’s lives through cashflow, retirement, and estate planning. As a Certified Financial Planning professional (CFP®), wholistic planning is in keen focus in any client relationship.

Greg is a long-standing member of Advocis, the Financial Advisor’s Association of Canada, and also a member of the Halifax Estate Planning Council.

A husband and father of two, he is a long-time supporter of the arts. Greg’s involvement at his church is ever evolving and with soccer and hockey players in the house his life is full. The Halifax Wanderer’s Grounds are also a favourite haunt during the Canadian Premiere League soccer season.

Life is a long game. Richard McKenster has been a life long student. ALL of his post Ryerson University designations have been targeted at expanding and nurturing his career as a financial advisor. His commitment to innovate, remain authentic and bring the best advice to clients is a consistent thread for Richard.

Consistency is a key and core Value for McKenster with a significant number of client relationships at RMFP now reaching third generation family security.

An avid writer, volunteer and a senior advisor with the firm, he has tasked himself with yet again breaking new ground in the financial planning profession.

His loves are family, fitness and a whole lot of just being happy.

Tonya Adams joined the RMFP team in 2018 as a Marketing Assistant.  Focusing mainly on insurance, she often spends her time in the office helping the team and clients navigate through the insurance process.

Tonya graduated with a Diploma of Paralegal Studies in 2012, since then she has found a way to merge her customer service skills with her love for the law.  She earned her Life insurance license in 2016 and is often heard saying “I like insurance because the rules just make sense”

As a Full-time mom and a Licensed minister, Tonya spends her “free-time” between her family and local church.

Kristen, a Marketing Assistant at RMFP, deals specifically in investments and works closely with her team members to make sure the needs of our clients are met.

Having worked with a major Canadian insurer, Kristen discovered her passion for assisting clients and their families. Her role at RMFP gives her more opportunity to expand her knowledge and expertise to this end.

Kristen is a wife and mother of two who enjoys spending as much time as she can outdoors with her family and going on as many new adventures as she can with her sons and husband.

Debbie Burns comes to RMFP Inc after 15 years in Customer Services with a major insurance company. She brings with her a fine attention to administrative detail and a dedication to providing excellent service to our clients.

In her spare time Debbie likes to get out and enjoy Nature while bicycling with her husband or hiking through their woodlot.

Kara joined the RMFP team in late 2021 as chief greeter and companion. She loves treats and going for walks in almost any kind of weather. Her favourite person is “Mum-Mum” though anyone with a bit of bacon or toast she will follow to the end of the earth. Any time you are in the area, she would love to say hello!
